Angela McGillis was appointed Corporate Director of Revenue and Digital Strategy in 2016. She joined the company in 2004 as part of the opening management team for the Doubletree Hotel, Bay City, MI. Angela oversees the pricing strategies and market positioning for the majority of the HIS, Inc. portfolio. Her primary responsibility is revenue maximization in both transient and group room production. She meets weekly with each team to analyze past outcomes and future strategies. Angela works closely with the front desk and sales teams to ensure the strategies are being implemented and working properly. Monitoring and communicating fluctuations in occupancy and pricing are a daily constant. Angela’s greatest strengths are self starter disposition, strong analytical skills and communication skills. Prior to joining HIS, Angela was Sales Manager’s at Hampton Inns in Midland and Mt. Pleasant, MI. She has her BBA in Hotel, Restaurant, Resort Management from Northwood University and a Masters degree from The DeVos Graduate School of Management.
