In addition to the expert management capabilities offered, HIS has experience in and provides consulting for a wide range of hospitality industry services.
HIS owns and/or manages a diverse collection of properties that include hotels, conference centers, golf courses, and bed and breakfast inns across the country. Many of the properties we manage are distinct and boutique in nature including the Inn at St. John's which was a former seminary located in Plymouth, Michigan. HIS studied the structure for several years and oversaw the redevelopment of the $40 million investment to build a hotel, create conference center with over 50,000 square feet of meeting space, and expand and enhance existing 27 holes of golf. Our CEO, Ron Wilson has a passion for redeveloping historic structures into innovative hotels and resorts. The Inn at Stonecliffe is another rare jewel that is located on Mackinac Island - what Conde Nast Traveler recognizes as one of the top ten islands in the world. This former mansion and summer house have been redeveloped into the islands most unique historic inn. At HIS we are interested in managing existing properties and developing proven brand hotels. We currently manage several Hilton brand hotels such as the Doubletree Riverfront Hotel in Bay City, Michigan and the Hilton Garden Inn and UW Conference & Event Center in Laramie, Wyoming. Our expertise includes developing Intercontinental Hotels such as the new Staybridge Suites in Novi, Michigan and managing Marriott and several independent hotels.
