In Monday’s Detroit News article, “Boutique hotel eyed for downtown’s Whitney Building” Louis Agular reported that owners have a $80M plan to turn property into trendy lodging.

Going Green
HIS, Inc. believes that it is important to be responsible in how we impact the earth’s enviroment. All of our properties work toward becoming greener everyday. In February of this year, the corporate office started using a shredding/recyclying company for all of our paper. This not only assures us that we have shredded any personal information, but we have also saved 11 trees since starting with this program. These are small steps, but we feel really good about taking them!
